How do I get started with Act! Essentials?

Once you have signed up and registered your Act! Essentials account, you are ready to get familiar with your new account.

  1. Import all of your contacts
  2. Create a group of contacts that you'd like to send an email campaign to
  3. Create an email template, perhaps a newsletter to send to your group
  4. Send your campaign
  5. View your Call List and your Campaign History reports
  6. Connect your Act! Essentials account to your calendar via iCal in Outlook or Google
  7. Create follow up activities to your contacts based on their interactions with your template -- Schedule a call, meeting or to-do for those that were most engaged in your email campaign.
