How do I integrate my Act! Essentials calendar into other calendars?

  1. Click Profile from the bottom left corner
  2. Click My Profile
  3. Click Apps & Integrations
  4. From the iCal Integration section click Generate iCal URL and copy generated URL

Google Calendar

  1. Log into your Gmail account, open your Google Calendar
  2. Click the drop down arrow to the right of Other calendars
  3. Click Add by URL
  4. Paste the URL copied from Act! Essentials iCal
  5. Click Add Calendar
  6. On the Left side of the screen under Other calendars there should be a colorful square indicating the Activities from your Act! Essentials account

* Please note: The Act! Essentials iCal URL is only for Activities currently in your calendar, if you modify or add events you will need to follow the instructions above to add changes to your Google Calendar.

Outlook 2010/2013

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click the calendar icon from the bottom left
  3. Right click on Other Calendars
  4. Hover over Add Calendar
  5. Click From Internet
  6. Paste the copied URL in box provided, click OK
  7. Click Yes for the Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook and subscribe to updates?
  8. After clicking Yes the added calendar will be viewable in Outlook 2013

*Please note: If you would like to ensure Act! Essentials and your Outlook calendar have recently synced, select 'Send and Receive' all folders within Outlook.

Outlook.com

  1. Open your Outlook account
  2. On the top left corner click the square icons, Click Calendars
  3. On the top menu click Import
  4. From the left side of the screen click Subscribe
  5. Paste the iCal URL
  6. Enter a Calendar name
  7. Select a Calendar color, this will help you distinguish what events are from Act! Essentials
  8. Click Subscribe

Calendar on iPhone

(Be sure to complete the top steps 1-4 on your iPhone)

  1. Select Settings on your iPhone
  2. Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. Select Add Account
  4. Select Other
  5. Select Add Subscribed Calendar
  6. Paste the URL copied from Act! Cloud iCal
  7. Select Next
  8. Set preferences for this calendar and Click Save

Act! Essentials events will now appear within your Calendar on your iphone and can be removed within your Calendar app under Subscribed.

 

Calendar for Mac

From Act! Essentials

  1. Click the cog icon from the bottom left corner
  2. Click Plans & Billing
  3. Click Apps & Integrations
  4. Scroll down the page to iCal Integration 
  5. Click Regenerate iCalendar URL
  6. Copy the iCal URL

From Mac Calendar

  1. Click File from the top menu
  2. Click New Calendar Subscription
  3. Paste the iCal URL from Act! Essentials into iCalendar Subscription
  4. Click Subscribe
  5. From the Untitled Info section fill out open fields as desired
  6. Enter name for the Act! Essentials calendar
  7. Select a color to distinguish what items are from Act! Essentials calendar
  8. Select where you want the iCalendar to display
  9. Select auto refresh preferences

*Please note that there are 2 settings where the calendar can display.

The two setting are

“On My Mac”

“ICloud"

 

If you select “On My Mac” it will synch with the Mac only if you select “iCloud” it will synch with the Mac and other devices connected to that iCloud account
